This was my first client project. I hope to do more in the future, I’ve just been focused on the music/tutorial side of things for a while. But here it is, the short version.
And the long (silent) version. Both of these promos were put together from drone shots the client had taken. Plus one I think was a cell phone video. Anyway, I was able to piece together something that worked for him and his client.
I tend to take a lot of video as I go different places–not as much as I used to–but that would be something only I would notice. One of the things I like to do if I’m think about it as a film maker is shoot video in such a way that I can put it together in an engaging format, or at least something enjoyable to watch. That’s what I’ve tried to do here. This first one is called Fall in Redding.
This next one is pretty self explanatory. It’s centered around a rope swing that we rode on at a friend’s house. And I couldn’t help putting in petting the horses and a little cattail action.
And finally a trip to one of our favorite sledding locations. Complete with lost boots and a smoking fire.
